Policies

All appliances must be checked by Calvary Place’s maintenance department before being used. Residents must demonstrate that they can operate their appliances safely. No private medications or cures should be administrated to the resident without a doctor’s consent. Because medications and alcoholic beverages can be incompatible, alcoholic beverages must be controlled and given by the nurse in charge. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in resident’s rooms. Residents are discouraged from keeping money and valuables in their rooms. Calvary Place is not responsible for money and valuables kept in rooms. Residents’ personal belongings must be removed within 24 hours of death or discharge. If family members are unable to do this, staff will pack the belongings. Candles, barbeques, fireworks, and sparklers are not permitted. Calvary Place facility and grounds are smoke-free.
