Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter.  We’re excited as we head into Sept. a month of new beginnings.  Great things have been happening at the Fellowship Church as the faithful members in the church are seeing the Lord move in wonderful ways.

This Sunday we celebrate back to school as our children return to their classrooms.  Also this Sunday is our Missions Sunday.  We have one young person who is planning a Mission trip.  We will receive a special Missionary offering to help her.

This Sunday I’ll be sharing, ‘Gratitude is the antidote for Envy.’  When we forget to be thankful for what we do have we will look at what others have and lust after it.

There is still a lack of water so there will not be a Sunday evening service to have a Water Baptism Service this week.  Hopefully next week will work.

Call or text the church 902 567-9830 or send an email; office@cbfellowship.ca

Our web site is still under construction and our church information list is also being updated.  Starting next Sunday we’ll have ‘A Connect Desk’ at the church to help us update our church files.  We need things like your name, address, phone, and email and any area in the church you may be gifted to help out.  We’ll do it right, we’ll do it big, and we’ll do it together.

Regarding our Friday e-letter many people have moved away, passed away or no longer attend the Fellowship Church.  In updating our information we will need to hear from those who have moved away or no longer attend our church if you still desire to receive this weekly e-letter.

Mid week Bible Study starts this Wednesday Sept. 10th 7 pm  Subject; When we plant the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, God sends His anointing to cause us to bear fruit.  The Bible tells us that one plants another waters but it’s God who gives the increase. If we don’t plant the fruit seeds and water it with the washing of the word then His anointing can be in the room but it will have no effect on you.

Men and Ladies Bible Study starts on Sept. 15th 7pm

Oct. 12th is Thanksgiving Sunday and we are making plans for another Multicultural Service like the one we had in May.  We want to celebrate God’s Kingdom to make it on earth as it is in Heaven.

Plans are also beginning to come together for a Special Ladies Day Nov. 8th

December is our annual Christmas banquet and this year we have some very special events planned for the banquet.   All of the things that we plan to do take a host of volunteers, so thank you to all of our faithful workers who make these events a great success.  Pastor Kevin
