Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter.  Great and exciting things are happening at the Fellowship Church.  It’s been amazing to see the hand of the Lord Jesus upon us, to God be all the glory.

This Sunday come to Church with singing and I’ll be sharing, ‘That Sounds Fair.’  We would like to think that God is fair even when life is not.  The truth is God’s Kingdom is one based on justice.  Not a justice set by the courts of man but a justice set by the Almighty God of Heaven.

On Sunday we have Kids Zone and nursery for the children.  Our main service starts at 10:30 but if you come around 10 we have tea and coffee for a time of fellowship.  There is also a prayer time from 10 to 10:15 in a separate area.

Call or text the church 902 567-9830 or send an email; office@cbfellowship.ca  You can also give a donation using our email.

We have extra parking at Mahoney’s but this weekend again they’re planning to paint their building.   Not sure with the weather but we’ll provide a drive to the church from the parking area to the left of Harold’s Bakery and Kenny’s pizza.  It’s a 10 minute walk for those who like walking.

Men and Ladies Bible Study is Monday evening @ 7pm

Mid week Bible Study is Wednesday 7 pm  Subject; God sends His anointing to enable us to bear good fruit.  Last week’s Bible Study is on Podcast for you to hear.

Oct. 12th is Thanksgiving Sunday and we are making plans for another Multicultural Service like the one we had in May.  We want to celebrate God’s Kingdom to make it on earth as it is in Heaven.

Water Baptism; My Father’s House (Pentecostal Church) in Glace Bay has offered us their church to have our Baptismal Service.  It will be held on Wednesday Oct.15 at 7pm.  Note; Sydney Pentecostal church would also like to join us with members from their church that want to be baptised.  Unity in the community commands a Kingdom of God blessing.

Our web site is still under construction and our church information list is also being updated.  Starting soon we’ll have ‘A Connect Desk’ at the church to help us update our church files.

Our ladies ministry is planning to come together for a Special Ladies Day Nov. 8th.  Registration is coming soon.

Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter.  Great and exciting things are happening at the Fellowship Church.  It’s been amazing to see the hand of the Lord Jesus upon us, to God be all the glory.

Testimony from a first time visitor last Sunday;  ‘Your talk felt like it spoke directly to me.  When I raised my hand and (reluctantly) stood up, I was kind of shaking and the kind gentleman next to me put his hand on me and I experienced a profound moment of hopeful calm and love from someone who doesn’t know me from Adam.’

My thoughts go to the hymn; At Calvary. ‘O the love that drew salvation’s plan!
O the grace that brought it down to man, O the mighty gulf that God did span — at Calvary.  Mercy there was great and grace was free, Pardon there was multiplied to me.  There my burdened soul found liberty– At Calvary.’

This Sunday, come to Church with singing and I’ll be sharing, ‘Samson a man of contradiction.’  We like for others to see us in the best light but the Bible sheds light on all the different sides of life so we can serve Jesus in whatever season we’re in.

Eva Tobin (Eve’s Soap Company) will have things for sale on Sunday to help her raise money for her mission trip.  Thank you to all those that have given to missions for great shall be your reward.

Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter.  Great and exciting things have been happening at the Fellowship Church.  So many new people coming out it’s been amazing to see the hand of the Lord upon us and to God be all the glory.

This Sunday I’ll be sharing, ‘Return to Sender.’  What is God’s return policy on things we’ve asked for and received?  We prayed, God gave, but now we have a problem with what He gave and we want to give it back.

This Sunday we have Kids Zone and nursery for the children.  Our main service starts at 10:30 but if you come around 10 we have tea and coffee for a time of fellowship.  There is also a prayer time from 10 to 10:15.

We need things like your name, address, phone, and email and any area in the church you may be gifted to help out.  We’ll do it right, we’ll do it big, and we’ll do it together.

Men and Ladies Bible Study starts this Monday evening Sept. 15th 7pm

December is our annual Christmas banquet and this year we have some very special events planned for the banquet.   All of the things that we plan to do take a host of volunteers, so thank you to all of our faithful workers who make these events a great success.  Pastor Kevin

Regarding our Friday e-letter many people have moved away, passed away or no longer attend the Fellowship Church.  In updating our information we will need to hear from those who have moved away or no longer attend our church if you still desire to receive this weekly e-letter.

Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter.  We’re excited as we head into Sept. a month of new beginnings.  Great things have been happening at the Fellowship Church as the faithful members in the church are seeing the Lord move in wonderful ways.

This Sunday we celebrate back to school as our children return to their classrooms.  Also this Sunday is our Missions Sunday.  We have one young person who is planning a Mission trip.  We will receive a special Missionary offering to help her.

This Sunday I’ll be sharing, ‘Gratitude is the antidote for Envy.’  When we forget to be thankful for what we do have we will look at what others have and lust after it.

There is still a lack of water so there will not be a Sunday evening service to have a Water Baptism Service this week.  Hopefully next week will work.

Call or text the church 902 567-9830 or send an email; office@cbfellowship.ca

Mid week Bible Study starts this Wednesday Sept. 10th 7 pm  Subject; When we plant the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, God sends His anointing to cause us to bear fruit.  The Bible tells us that one plants another waters but it’s God who gives the increase. If we don’t plant the fruit seeds and water it with the washing of the word then His anointing can be in the room but it will have no effect on you.
