Welcome to the Fellowship Church Friday E-letter. The Ladies Conference was a wonderful event last Saturday. Lives were changed and God was glorified. Thank you to all the volunteers that made the event a great success.
This Sunday I’ll be sharing, ‘Yes and God gives hope and a future.’ When God has a mission on earth He always seeks to send someone to go for Him.
Isaiah 6:8 “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I, send me!”
Isaiah had a choice to go or not go. He could have said no thanks but he was quick to say yes to God’s request, which sent him on a quest to change the world.
Our yes to God always gives us a path into a brighter future and a no leaves us wandering in the endless wilderness of life. Just say YES!
Our main service starts at 10:30 but if you come around 10 we have tea and coffee for a time of fellowship. There is also a prayer time from 10 to 10:15 in a separate area.
Kids Church is Getting an Upgrade! In the coming weeks you will be noticing some changes in our kids church area. Starting this Sunday, we will have a kids check in desk! Make sure you bring your parents by so you can get a really cool name tag!
Our kids ministry is growing in leaps and bounds! We are looking for 5 people who have a heart for kids to join our team. Pray about this ministry opportunity.
The commitment will be once a month starting in January. If you are interested in joining our team or have any questions, please connect with Amy. See you Sunday!

We have extra parking just down the street at Mahoney’s It’s about a 3 minute walk or our fellowship shuttle service will be happy to drive you to the church.

We have been working on a better way to handle the Christmas banquet tickets. We have had a request for an option for the meal so this year we have 2 choices for dinner. One, (red ticket) a full course Turkey Diner. Two, (blue Ticket) new to the menu, a stuffed chicken breast dinner. For the children who don’t want either adult meal they can have chicken fingers with their meal.
The price is $25 for adults, students $15, children under 12 free.
Shay has been accepting names and numbers on a spread sheet. If you have already registered would you please go back to Shay and get your ticket. If you haven’t registered please see Shay for your tickets.
We are a family church and would like everyone to attend our banquet. If you can’t afford a ticket we do have others in the church who have given extra to cover your cost. Please sign up and get your tickets as soon as possible.
There are Christmas shoe boxes at the back of the church for those who would like to fill a box to help children around the world have a better Christmas. SamaritiansPurse.ca for more information.
We would like to have all the shoe boxes filled and returned no later than Nov. 23rd which is a week from this Sunday.
